Job Description

Our client is actively seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join their dynamic and friendly team. As a Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales of the company’s products and services across the UK HVAC market. You’ll be responsible for both nurturing existing client relationships and exploring new business opportunities. With a focus on proactive outreach and market analysis, you’ll help drive and expand the company’s growth.

Responsibilities:


New Business development:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential new clients and new markets to generate sales.
  • Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, and networking.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients.
  • Engage in effective outbound sales strategies to convert leads into customers.
  • Undertake client meetings nationally where needed to obtain sales.


Upselling to Existing Clients:

  • Develop strong relationships with key current clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Identify upselling opportunities and present additional products or services for the client.
  • Continuously engage with existing clients to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Provide overflow for enquires.


Market Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities in the HVAC industry.
  • Prepare regular reports summarising sales activities, performance metrics, and market insights.
  • Provide recommendations and insights to the management team to support strategic decision-making.


Communication and Feedback:

  • Maintain open and effective communication with the sales team, management, and other departments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address client needs and improve product offerings.
  • Provide constructive feedback on product features, pricing, and customer experiences to help drive improvements.

Qualifications, Certification and Requirements:

  • Proficiency in relevant software and IT systems.
  • Commitment to professional development and training
  • Full UK Driving license (Essential)
  • Willingness to travel where required.
  • Previous experience in product sales / technical sales in a B2B environment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable working to targets.
  • Proficiency in market analysis and report drafting.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving industry and market.
  • Ability to undertake technical sales meetings after training.
  • Commercial awareness
