Our client is seeking Kerbside Collectors to work on the Recycling Lorries in the South West area.
The role itself will be fairly regular but will predominantly be based on client requirements and will be as and when needed.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Report to and join your crew in a timely manner
- Collect recycling and waste from households and businesses in and around the South West area.
- Sorting waste depending on materials i.e. plastics, cardboard and glass into the Lorries.
- Keeping the yard clean and tidy along with other duties within the remit of the job description.
- Adhering to Health & Safety requirements at all times.
Person Specification
- Previous experience working in recycling, advantageous but not essential
- Capable of carrying out physically demanding work as there will be a lot of walking and getting in and out of recycling lorry during your working day.
Qualifications and Certification
- None required but you will be expected to complete a short induction (approximately 45mins).
