We are assisting our well-established client, with their search to find them a Multi-drop Van Driver to cover the South West.  

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and organise your workload to prioritise deliveries to meet customer requirements scheduled on route.
• Update all company documentation accurately.
• Complete vehicle maintenance, safety checks and accurately record/report any defects accordingly (i.e. tire wear, warning lights, noises, damage etc).
• Always comply to all company policies/procedures (i.e Security, Driving/Transport Standards, Health & Safety etc).
• Work to specific timescales and deadlines to achieve company targets.

Personal Specifications:

• Experience working as a multi drop courier, with a strong geographical knowledge.
• Have no more than 6 points on your Driving Licence (With no; DD, DR or IN convictions due to insurance purposes only).
• Be willing to change your route from time to time to meet business needs.
• Demonstrate excellent punctuality and reliability.
• Have strong customer service skills.
• Have the ability, to quickly resolve any problems that may occur, to prevent any negative impact on the customer and/or business.
• Be able to work under your own initiative or as part of a thriving team.
• Demonstrate a high standard of the attention to detail.
• Be able to demonstrate basic literate and numeracy skills.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness (Helping to prevent the spread of Covid-19)

Qualifications and Certification:

• UK Full Driving Licence
• Minimum of 1 Year Driving Experience
• Minimum of 1 Year Delivery Experience
