Job and Person Specification Job Title: Stores Person Overall Job Purpose: Working within the stores & Dispatch department you will be checking and packing goods as per customer orders and get involved with stock control Responsible to: 1. Manager 2. Recruitment Consultant Main Duties and Responsibilities • Accepting, Checking and logging deliveries • Picking and packing orders to customer specifications • Preparing Parts and Kit-up orders for assembly • Working on your own initiative and as part of a team • Working to tight deadlines • Using the company’s CRM system • Experience of stock control systems/procedures • Adhering to Health and Safety always ensuring a safe environment for all employees • Other duties may be required, within the scope of this job specification Personal Qualities and Qualifications • Previous experience working in Goods In/Out or Stores (Advantageous) • Experience working in a busy workshop environment. • Hands on approach to work. • Interpersonal and communication skills. • Computer literacy • Highly organised • Motivated and highly ambitious. Qualifications and Certification: • 2 years’ experience within a factory/manufacturing environment preferable • Secondary School Level education Additional Information Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.45 am – 5pm , Friday 8.30 am – 12.30pm (39 hours a week) Type: Temp – Perm Location: Burlescombe Remuneration: £10 p/h Probation: No probation but before starting work all candidates much register where they will need to provide proof of ID, NI and address Training and Development: We actively promote the development of our team and additional training either professional or in-house may be offered to candidates who exceed expectations.
