Overall Job Purpose:
To assist the warehouse team with goods and products coming into the warehouse ensuring they are stored correctly and efficiently.
You will be checking items in and entering it onto the in house system and must be computer literate, enthusiastic and have excellent attention to detail.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Duties may vary depending on work but will include:
Dealing with goods and products that come into the warehouse Stock Taking Labelling Inspecting deliveries Picking & Packing orders where required.
Filing and keeping paperwork related to stock/orders up-to-date
Working as part of a team Manual handling Adhering to health and safety at all times
Personal Qualities and Qualifications :
Previous experience working as a warehouse operative.
Ability to work as part of a team Good customer service skills required as you will be dealing with internal clients on the telephone
Must be literate and numerate and be able to work in a methodical manner as attention to detail is essential
Qualifications and Certification:
Secondary school level education or equivalent
Diploma or additional training in Stock Control / Warehousing (Advantageous)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Full time 37.5 hours a week)
Remuneration: £9.75 p/h Probation: N/A
