Job Description

As a Customer Support Adviser within our client’s team, you will play a crucial role in the success of a growing local business, contributing to the efficient operation of the office and prioritising customer satisfaction.


Key Duties:

  • Review and advise on customer general insurance requirements.
  • Process customer instructions for policy amendments, adhering to required completion standards.
  • Identify and initiate cross-selling opportunities to both new and existing customers.
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of General Insurance products relevant to product licenses.
  • Schedule appointments for our Financial Advisor to contribute to agency targets.
  • Operate within the Compliance Framework required by the Company/Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
  • Utilise Microsoft Word and Excel at a minimum.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with customers, agency members, and staff.
  • Comply with all relevant sections of the insurance compliance manual for the agency network, the agency guide, and local agency procedures.
  • Maintain record-keeping requirements for your role.
  • Produce correspondence within specified time frames and quality standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Management Team.
  • Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and trustworthiness.
  • Introduce our Risk Management Services and understand their importance.


Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in IT skills, particularly in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to use your own judgment.
  • A flexible and open attitude.
  • Strong sales and customer service skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to work efficiently towards deadlines.
