Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travelling nationally to service boilers and ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed with precision and care.
  • Skilfully assessing parts and labour required for servicing, breakdowns, and follow-up actions.
  • Expertly troubleshooting issues and promptly attending breakdowns to minimise downtime for our clients.
  • Delivering comprehensive reports and action plans for breakdowns, including detailed parts lists when necessary.
  • Offering friendly and efficient technical support to customers over the phone, ensuring their satisfaction and confidence in our services.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior staff members to foster their growth and development.
  • Collaborating closely with the technical manager and supporting the After-sales team and clients with any technical issues that arise.
  • Upholding strict adherence to all Health & Safety processes and procedures, prioritising the well-being of both our team and our clients.
  • Maintaining meticulous servicing reports and ensuring paperwork is of the highest standard.
  • Assisting the installation team as needed, showcasing your versatility and commitment to the team’s success.
  • Willingness to travel during the week as required, embracing new challenges and experiences.

Core Knowledge, Skills & Disposition:

  • Proficiency in welding techniques.
  • Possession of IPAF/PASMA License.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, demonstrating your expertise in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Proactive teamwork mindset coupled with the ability to work independently when necessary.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and prioritisation skills to manage your workload effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, enabling you to liaise effectively with colleagues, clients, and other trades.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Valid Full Driving License.
