Job Description

Our client is a leading provider of industrial refrigeration solutions, is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Refrigeration Service Engineer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be based between Birmingham and Oxford, requiring a valid driving license and F Gas qualification.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair industrial refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency.
  • Installation: Assist in the installation of new industrial refrigeration equipment and systems, adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • Diagnostic Skills: Utilise technical knowledge and diagnostic tools to identify and rectify issues in a timely manner, minimizing downtime.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service activities, including equipment specifications, maintenance schedules, and service reports.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with a small, highly motivated team to achieve collective goals and contribute to a positive working environment.
  • Customer Interaction: Interact with clients professionally, addressing queries, providing technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Training: Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and new technologies. Willingness to undergo additional training as required.


Requirements:

  • Qualifications: F Gas qualification is essential. A valid driving license is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in industrial chiller systems is highly desirable. Candidates with a commercial or air conditioning background willing to broaden their expertise will also be considered.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical aptitude, including knowledge of refrigeration systems, HVAC equipment, and relevant tools.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Problem-solving: Proven ability to analyse and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
