We are working in partnership with our client based in Mid Devon that specialises in damp and timber restoration. Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Carpenter. The chosen candidate will work on diverse projects across multiple locations, undertaking various carpentry tasks essential for our restoration projects.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely remove and replace damaged timber components.
- Execute flooring timber replacements and skirting board installations.
- Install chemical damp proof courses.
- Apply internal waterproof dry lining systems.
- Administer dry rot and woodworm treatments.
- Perform basic electrical tasks related to carpentry work.
Person Specification
- Proficient in carpentry with a strong understanding of general building trades.
- Effective communication skills.
- Capable of working independently and proactively.
- Ability to meet deadlines efficiently.
Qualifications and Certification
- In the absence of formal qualifications previous experience will be considered
- Driving Licence
