We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our client that provides emergency public crisis support on an ad hoc basis. As a member of this team, you will play a crucial role in providing assistance to the public during extreme situations, with a primary focus on distributing water and ensuring the well-being of those affected. This position requires a quick response and a commitment to serving the community in times of need.
This is an Ad hoc, on – call position NOT a Permanent Full-time role.
Responsibilities:
• Be available to respond promptly to emergency situations as they arise.
• Assist in setting up and managing temporary relief stations for the public.
• Provide support and assistance to individuals affected by emergencies.
• Effectively communicate with team members to coordinate relief efforts.
• Provide clear and concise information to the public regarding available assistance.
• Follow established protocols and guidelines for emergency response.
• Manage and distribute resources efficiently, with a focus on water distribution.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in emergency response or community service would be an advantage.
• Ability to remain calm and focused on high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to set up and manage relief stations, including lifting and carrying supplies.

Working Hours: This is an ad hoc, on-call position that may require availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility is essential, as the role involves responding to emergencies as they occur.
Salary range: £13 – £14 p/h Monday – Friday Day time and £18 – £19 p/h out of hours
