Our client, a prominent FMCG manufacturer, is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Devon. With multiple sites across the UK, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment within a large engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain machinery to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Conduct dismantling and reassembly of production equipment.
- Perform electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical maintenance.
- Carry out regular PPM and scheduled maintenance tasks.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience/Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role within FMCG or similar production environments.
- Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, etc.)
- Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive approach with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in computer usage.
- 17th Edition qualification.
- Experience with electrical bias is essential.
- Understanding of pneumatic and mechanical systems.
Working Hours: Full time, Permanent. This role follows a shift pattern.
