Overall Job Purpose:
To provide administrative support for the Hire Desk and Workshop and ensure the running of company procedures through completion or various administrative tasks with a view to becoming the Depot Hire Controller.
Responsible to: Office Manager
Main Duties and Responsibilities
General filing and administrative tasks
Dealing with customers enquiries via telephone and email
Ensure compliance with company operating and quality systems
Use of Microsoft Office Word, Outlook and Excel and company specific systems Create send and follow up invoices where required
Collect and enter data on to financial spreadsheets
Provide holiday, sickness, lunch cover and day to day assistance for the Hire desk and Workshop Admin
Previous experience in a similar role desirable
Experience working in an office environment advantageous
Computer literate with the ability to use Word, Outlook and Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer service skills Work well on your own initiative and as part of a team
Ability to prioritise workload and perform well under pressure.
Qualifications and Certification:
Minimum of GCSE’s including English and Maths (Grade A*-C or 4-9)
In the absence of formal qualifications relevant previous experience will be considered.
Working Hours: 37.5 hours a week (Monday – Friday)
Remuneration: £9.50 – £10.50 p/h (DOE)
Probation: 3 month probationary period.
